Auto Draft

It all started in 2007.

And it continued in 2008.

And by 2009 it was an annual tradition:

The 2010 Vivian Swift Holiday Card (Limited Edition), hand painted and hand-made by yours truly, is READY!

If you would like to have the new card sent to you (anywhere in the world), please be one of the  first 25 readers to send me their mailing address to email address listed below.

Posted at 12 noon on Dec 1: Thank you! Thank you, everyone, who emailed me their addresses and their kind words! I have my 25 (actually, I have my 46…that’s what I get for not keeping on top of my email but hey: the more the merrieer) — if you got to me before 12 noon Eastern Standard Time, you’re on my list– thank you!

This is such a lovely holiday tradition, Vivian! It’s one of my favorite things about December. I’ve emailed you my address, and can’t wait to see the 2010 card if I’m lucky enough to make the list.

I’m very disappointed to find this a “time issue”, it gives distinct advantage to the eastern time zone. You all have a 3 hour advantage over the westerners. :>(

I didn’t find the email addy for you in the post either, double disappointment.

Dang. I forgot it was Wednesday.

Ditto to Joan’s comment. Another double disappointment. But I’ll look at last years card and be happy.

It’s a bea-u-ti-ful tradition! Just looking at the previous years’ cards makes me happy. and makes me want hot chocolate!

Wait! I think you should make special license for those of us bitchslapped by the insomnia fairy last night. I’m only just now checking in, but I’d been anticipating it ever since Monday. I’d also move that you simply increase your number of holiday cards.Your fans have grown by legions over the past two years, you know darn well that we’re going to buy multiple copies of That Damned France Book to give as Christmas presents next year, so really-we deserve more cards. : ). -From the Wilds of Dakota

  • Right on to you Westerners. I am East Coast, AND an early riser. I saw it at 5:30 a.m. Not fair, I guess.
Vivian will find a way, for sure.
We can’t let a little thing like time standards disrupt our enjoyment of Vivian’s largess.

  • Each year’s card is so beautiful. If you ever decided to sell your artwork on cards I’ll be first in line (or as first as I can be with all of your other fans!) to purchase them!

    Talk about being late!
I just discovered your blog through Cathy Johnson’s newsletter, ordered your book from amazon and am checking older posts.
Today is my birthday, I’m 55, do I get a special dispensation or something for coming, ha ha ha…..
Really, I fell in love immediately with your blog, your art and your cats. This will be a favorite (I’m not a big blog reader, yours is a keeper).
How about a regular line of greeting cards? I’d buy them all!
