Remember When He Wanted To Buy Greenland and We Thought Things Can’t Get Any Stupider Than That?

My bad mood started on January 17, 2017.

Now that the gas giant who calls himself POTUS has been given free rein by the Republicans to make America the  kind of shithole country that actually deserves to have Trump as president, it looks to me as if we are well and truly fucked.

And since the goddam Democrats can’t even run a dinky caucus right, it looks to me as if Trump will cruise to another term.

I hope this is the end of fucking Iowa, who claims that they deserve to go first in the primaries because their citizens are so above-average in political awareness, such as this:

So she asked if she could change her caucus vote. Because even though she supported him, she did not know he was gay and she didn’t want “that” in the White House. My other complaint is: Shit, girl: how can you go out in public without even combing your hair??

I’m in a bad mood. I might be in a better mood tomorrow and I might post the story I was planing on telling today, but then again, if Trump is still president when I wake up tomorrow I might just say fuck it again.

Sounds like a shitty time for the US at the moment, our politicians aren’t doing very well either but you are definitely leading in worst politics.

My favourite of the above was the pie chart and the one below about the bus. You’re right about the Iowa thing (don’t always understand how US politics operates), the Democrats have given themselves some bad PR.

Ha ha! All Australians would get this last post. In spring in Australia the magpie, a type of bird, ‘swoops’ people as they fly from tree to tree protecting their young chicks. Problem is you don’t always know they’re coming until they whoosh past your head at great speed, pretty scary. Other times of year they are fine and have a lovely warbling song.

I was worried about you as I saw the news yesterday and thought you’d be disappointed. I know I was. I saw the video of that lady wanting her vote back, the young woman helping her was brilliant, what a self possessed and fast thinking young woman. I take my hat off to her she was so polite and tried to get the point across that nothing about Pete had changed and that woman thought he was worth voting for until she found out he was gay. Why are these right wing christians so judgmental? They give christians a bad name. I love magpies, they have such pretty songs and we have a lot of them in our garden so far I have not been swooped by them, apparently they have good memories and they do recognise people so maybe they know I’m not a menace? I agree with Kirra, love the pie chart quite sensible isn’t it? If you aren’t worried you are not paying attention. Like the public transport analogy too. Chin up this too will pass. Fingers crossed.

Oh god. I wanted to stay in bed too. How can people protect this shit bag president??

Any way, I had a cup of tea and a slow read of all the great minds who will help us get through this. We need to stick together.

Oh god. The Democrats. Where are the Lincoln’s and the Washington’s of this century?

Dear Justin Trudeau, please let me in to stay.

UGH. And it got worse yesterday. We all knew he’d take out his anger on Vinhman and others but Vinnie’s brother? This man is completely deranged — but hey, we’ve got a good economy (so someone said). Never mind that without soul, respect, integrity, kindness, empathy, compassion and a ton of other more practical things, a good economy is worthless.

It was a bad week — and I’m only afraid it will get worse.

Thanks to Kirra for explaining that!

I wait all day for your blog, but then I re-read last weeks’ blog, so it’s not wasted time.
Every week is a laugh . I’m glad you rake in so many anti-Trumpster jokes.
Great fun. News is soooo depressing.
    Look forward to next week.

OK, you actually spoke it just like it is in my head. The whole thing is disgusting!! I am with Jeanie, wanting to head to Canada. One thing we can all do that would really piss T off is nominate Adam Shiff for a Profile of Courage Award. Here is the link: https://www.jfklibrary.org/events-…/profile-in-courage-award I nominated Adam Shiff, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, and Marie Yavonovitch. Hope some of your readers can do the same.

Thankyou for this website!!! I now know that I am not alone!!!! Everybody has to stop with the pity party, we have to get up off our asses and raise hell and make some noise!! Seriously. We are enabling this bull. Every community, every town, state, etc. needs to RAISE HELL!! March on Washington, Mar a Lago, Barrs house, any and all Senators who sat there and went along with this crap. Trump IS NOT as popular as the media reports say. Unemployment is not down as they report. Check out how many people are homeless in your communities, how may out caught up in the drug crisis and severe mental health problems, and people with severe disabilities. These people are not presently employable. START RAISING HELL, AND SHOW IT. Call the media, be seen and speak up, instead of mumbling behind closed doors. And by the way, check out Lindsay Graham…..he only rides the tail of the comet, yes, one of those people who will kiss ass of whoever is popular, so that it makes him look good. Stop believing the HYPE, because if you don’t the BRAIN F_CKING will get more controlling. Let’s all get in there and grow a new set of BALLZ!!!!!!
